A Super All Round Rodeo

8 October 2026

A Super All Round Rodeo- every cowboy and cowgirls dream! And Kilcoy Super All Round certainly did not disappoint! It was a sell-out event and the night was topped off with Kilcoy’s biggest nutbush in the rodeo arena after the last bull bucked. Whilst we just missed the rain clouds on the horizon, nothing could dull the spirit of the patrons and competitors, not to mention the substantial effort of local volunteer groups fundraising for Hudson’s Hearing and The McGrath Foundation. Ten hours of rodeo action was on display for the town of Kilcoy, and it was a treat for all who witnessed it.

Ty Percival won the Saddle Ride on an 80 point ride, followed by Stuart Milne and Michael Neylon. In the Steer Wrestling, Lee Moore won with a 4.580 run, followed by Luke Sullivan and Ben Eastwell. Team Roping was won by the dynamic duo of Wade Eastwell (HD) and Johnny Osborne (HL) with a 6.04 run, followed by Jeff and Kobe Miller, and Anthony and Clayton Perkins. We cracked into the 14 second runs with barrels, with Christy Engel taking the win on a 14.972 run. Kamie Cottam followed close on her heels, followed in 3rd place by Jordyn O’Toole. Some fast runs were on show in the Breakaway Roping, with Chantelle Heeb winning on a 2.27 run. Katie Vaughan followed closely, with Cheyenne Whitwell not far behind. Riley Merrell in the Novice Bullride scored 75 points to win the day, followed by Quinn Sheahan and Jake Maher.
